Our hand woven rag rugs are crafted from all new cotton and cotton blend fabric, cut into strips, woven on a 100% cotton carpet warp, and are loomed in the old tradition. Sizes are approximate within an inch or two and do not include the fringe in the measurement; however, the fringe is part of the rug and should not be cut. They are reversible and machine washable in warm or cold water on the gentle setting, then hang them to dry. The 5 x 8 foot and 4 x 6 foot area rugs can be washed at the laundromat in one of their larger front-loading machines.

Better Homes and Gardens did a special series on Cape Cod homes; our rugs were part of one of the houses featured in that special. Many of our customers use the rag rugs in their summer homes as well as their primary residences.

We have sold our rag rugs to people from all over the world, including Ireland, Great Britain, France, Canada, and China, to name a few.

Our rugs can be used in any room of the house, including bathrooms and kitchens. They can also be used as decorative wall hangings and as table runners. The large area rugs work well under a coffee table in front of couch, while the 2 x 3 foot rugs are ideal for indoor doormats, in front of the bathroom or kitchen sink. All add beautiful accent colors to any decor.

Our rugs are tightly woven, stay flat on the floor and do not bunch up. The fringe is double knotted to retard fraying and give a neat appearance.
